Location: MIDLANDS based, travel required
Salary: 40k -50k per annum plus car

HSEQ Advisors required for Groundwokrs & Civils and General Construction

We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) Advisor to join our clients growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring our projects are delivered safely, compliantly, and to the highest standards across multiple sites nationwide.

About Us:

Our client is a reputable and dynamic Groundworks contractor, delivering high-quality civil engineering and groundworks solutions to residential, commercial, and infrastructure clients. Projects are based across the UK and will require travel.

The Role:

As our HSEQ Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting and promoting a positive health and safety culture, ensuring environmental compliance, and driving quality improvements across our operational sites.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSEQ standards and legislation

* Advise site teams on best practices and support toolbox talks and site inductions

* Assist in the development, implementation, and review of risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work

* Investigate incidents, near misses, and non-conformances, and implement corrective actions

* Maintain and update HSEQ documentation and reports

* Work collaboratively with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors

What We’re Looking For:

* NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent) – essential

* Experience in a similar HSEQ role within the construction or groundworks sector

* Knowledge of current HSE legislation and industry standards

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Full UK driving licence (site visits required)
