Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for an experienced "Quantity Surveyor" from a consultancy (PQS) background to join a specialist firm of Surveyors based in Exeter. 

Working on exciting projects across Devon and Cornwall, they specialise in providing Construction Cost Management to ultra high net work individuals. The successful "Quantity Surveyor" will work on unique projects ranging in value from £3m – £10m. 

You will be involved from the very beginning of each clients journey, working closely with Architects and Engineers to bring to life stunning new properties in equally stunning locations. 

Key duties will include: 

Cost Planning and Budgeting
Tender Management
Cost Control
Valuation and Payments
Identify and analyze commercial risks, developing strategies to mitigate them
Advise on contract terms, including variations and disputes, to ensure the client's interests are protected
Value Engineering
Cost-benefit analyses to assess the financial viability of projects
The right candidate 

Degree Qualified
Currently working for a Construction Consultancy as a quantity Surveyor
Experience managing projects circa £3m-£5m 
Local to Exeter or relocating
