Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor – Up to £60K – Central London

Our client is a leading specialist construction and refurbishment contractor covering projects within the Commercial, Education, Healthcare and Residential sector,

Due to continued growth they seek a Quantity Surveyor to work alongside the Director and help to deliver the commercial functions within projects for the business.. UK project experience is essential and it would suit a Surveyor who has ideally worked for a subcontractor or contractor and able to provide post contract commercial activities.

Project experience within builders work which may have covered "Structural Alterations" or "Temporary works" or "Structural Steelwork" or "Concrete works" or "Drainage" or "Demolition" or "Blockwork" or "Brickwork" or "Groundworks" or "RC" would all be advantageous

Our client is seeking a career driven, excellent communicator who wants to define their career with a growing construction business delivering excellent post contract commercial work within the UK Construction market.

Daily duties

* Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities

* Prepare and analyse costings for tenders

* CVR's

* Assist in establishing a client’s requirements and undertake feasibility studies

* Analyse outcomes and write detailed progress reports

* Value completed work and arrange payments
