Position: Bid Manager
Location: UK Wide (Remote with travel as required)
Salary: £80,000 per annum + Car Allowance + Bonus + Private Healthcare (after 6 months)
Hours: Monday to Friday
 
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bid Manager to join a leading FM & critical infrastructure service provider, supporting growth within the data centre and mission critical environments. This is a key role with responsibility for managing end-to-end bid and estimating activities across a wide portfolio of services including Design, Build, Manage & Maintain solutions.
 
This is a great opportunity for a high-calibre bid professional to help shape and grow a major division of the business, while working closely with senior leadership and multi-disciplinary teams.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full bid lifecycle from pre-qualification through to final submission
Lead estimating efforts and ensure accurate, competitive pricing across M&E, fit-out, civils and lifecycle works
Develop compelling proposals with clear commercial and technical narratives
Collaborate with design, commercial, operations, and procurement teams
Engage directly with clients to understand needs and develop winning solutions
Produce professional bid documentation and presentations
Maintain oversight of the bid pipeline and report progress to senior stakeholders
Support the continuous improvement of the company’s integrated data centre offering
Manage commercial and technical risk throughout the bidding process
Lead and develop the estimating team  
Candidate Profile:

Strong bid management experience within FM, data centre, or mission critical environments
Background in managing bids valued between £0.5m – £15m, ideally including TFM services
Experience in pricing M&E, lifecycle replacement, energy, and fit-out packages
Skilled in managing complex, multi-stakeholder submissions under tight deadlines
Strong commercial acumen with a focus on value-driven solutions
Clear and persuasive communicator—both written and verbal
Technically qualified to HNC level (or equivalent); APMP or PRINCE2 qualification preferred
Proficient in MS Office, InDesign, and other bid development tools
Organised, driven, and comfortable working remotely and travelling as needed
