Mechanical Engineer (Contract)
Location: Heathrow
Rate: £350pd – £400pd Outside IR35
Start Date: 2 – 3 weeks
Duration: Initially 6 months +
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm
 
We’re working with a leading consultancy involved in a major infrastructure project at Heathrow Airport. They are looking to bring on a Senior Mechanical Engineer to deliver final-stage design work on key building services systems.
 
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Finalise design for mechanical systems:
Ventilation
Low temperature hot water
Chilled water
Drainage
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated design delivery
Prepare and review mechanical layouts and specifications  
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Background in airport or rail sector projects
Strong mechanical design experience in consultancy settings
Ability to work independently on final design documentation  
ESSENTIALS:

No airport pass required initially (but need to be eligible)
Full availability for 5 days per week onsite
