About the Role

TeamJobs is currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a well-established structural and civil construction specialist based in Poole. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team working on high-profile commercial and public sector projects across the UK.

You'll be responsible for managing costs across projects, supporting tendering, contract negotiation, and maintaining strong commercial oversight throughout the build process.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and valuations

Manage procurement and tendering processes

Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and site teams

Monitor project progress and handle variations

Ensure accurate and timely reporting on project finances

Contribute to risk management and project planning

What We are Looking For

3-5 years' post-apprenticeship experience OR solid industry background

Previous experience in structural, reinforced concrete, or civil projects

Comfortable working with contracts and cost control documentation

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Full UK driving licence (desirable)
