Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Planned Maintenance

* Salary up to £50k + package

* Ealing based – scattered properties

* SHDF works – external package (windows/roof replacements)

* Must have your own vehicle!

Role

We’re seeking an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join one of the top 5 UK's Leading Property Services companies to deliver a major Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) and external refurbishment programme across Ealing.

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial delivery of a major retrofit and refurbishment project involving:

* Window and roof replacements

* External wall insulation and façade upgrades

* Other key fabric-first energy efficiency improvements

Key Responsibilities

* Assist with the preparation and management of budgets, forecasts, and final accounts

* Support procurement and contract administration

* Monitor site progress and manage variations in scope or specification

* Prepare valuations, applications for payment, and cost reports

* Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants

* Ensure commercial compliance with SHDF funding criteria and reporting

About You

* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field

* 1–3 years’ experience in a commercial or assistant QS role, ideally within housing or refurbishment

* Strong communication, organisational, and Excel skills

* A team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn
