Service Engineer – Fire, Security & Smoke Vent Systems

Location: London & Surrounding (site-based)
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (DOE)
Type: Full-time, Permanent

I’m recruiting for a fantastic opportunity with a growing and well-respected fire and security company that’s looking to bring on an experienced Service Engineer who’s happy to dabble in both service and install.

This role will offer variety, responsibility, and a real opportunity to make your mark.

The Role:

You’ll be working across fire and security systems, with an emphasis on smoke vent (AOV) work. If you’re confident with both service and small installation projects, and have a background working with a range of systems, this is for you.

Systems & Experience They’re Looking For:

*

Fire alarms and security systems

*

Smoke vent systems (SE Controls ideally)

*

AOV systems

*

CCTV (including Heat Vision)

*

Access Control (especially Comelit, BPT, IntroTex)

*

IPIP Systems

*

Small works and remedial install projects

*

Comfortable on-call and fault finding when required

You’ll need the relevant certs/tickets for fire, security, and smoke vents, and at least 5–6 years’ experience in the field.
