Sellick Partnership Ltd are currently recruiting for a Damp and Disrepair Manager to join one of our Bristol based clients on an interim basis
Daily duties of the Interim Damp and Disrepair Manager:
Support the Head of Service and other managers in leading teams that deal with complaints, disrepair and damp and mould issues
Assist with the management of the damp and mould and disrepair teams
Ensure all claims and legislative issues within Repairs and Maintenance are successfully investigated and completed in accordance with the necessary timescales
Monitor the work of a variety of different trades teams & contractors from start through to completion
Provide a professional service and provide expert witness advice and reports to a range of officers in relation to technical housing matters
Essential requirements of the Interim Damp and Disrepair Manager:
Educated to degree level in building surveying, environmental health or other relevant building construction degree
Excellent knowledge of disrepair in housing to include legislation, regulation, best practice, improvements, and technological developments
Previously worked within Social Housing
