Get your quill and parchment ready. It’s time to write some bids.

I am looking for a proper Bid Writer to join a quality main contractor in the Southampton area ( I also have similar roles in other locations) and bring their wordy skills to the table.

I am not looking for Bid Coordinators on this one, nor Bid Managers. (although I need both elsewhere). But a Bid Writer with a love of language and the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely without sending the reader to sleep (essential).

On the non-negotiable list is writing experience in the world of small works and refurbishment / maintenance projects – bonus points for those who have worked on MOD, healthcare or education projects.

Bid values will range from around £250k – £3million.

As an added and very welcome bonus, you will be working alongside a genuinely lovely bid team, so your integration into their offices and workflows will be nice and smooth.
