As part of their continued growth, our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate or Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to kick-start their career in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of cost plans, estimates, and tender documents
*
Support with procurement, subcontractor packages, and contract administration
*
Measure quantities and assist in valuations and variations
*
Monitor project costs, cash flow, and profitability
*
Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, project managers, and subcontractors
*
Help with compiling final accounts and project close-out documentation
*
Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety standards
Requirements
*
A degree in Quantity Surveying (RICS-accredited preferred)
*
Strong numerical and analytical skills
*
Good written and verbal communication skills
*
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
*
Basic understanding of construction contracts and cost control principles
*
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general MS Office applications
*
Willingness to learn and develop in a fast-paced commercial environment
Desirable (but not essential)
*
Work placement or industry experience within a construction or fit-out environment
*
Familiarity with measurement software (e.g. Bluebeam, CostX)
*
Working towards or interested in pursuing RICS APC
