Site Agent

I am operating alongside a leading earthworks and remediation contractor. They are looking to onboard a site agent to help deliver a new flagship scheme in Surrey. My client operate heavily across the South East and surrounding counties.

Site agent responsibilities:

* Take responsibility for managing defined sections of work, ensuring delivery is safe, on time, and to the required quality

* Coordinate day-to-day site operations including supervision of engineers, subcontractors, and site teams

* Support the planning of works and assist in tracking progress against programme and budget

* Provide technical input on construction methodologies, temporary works, and sequencing

* Ensure site documentation such as RAMS, ITPs, permits and progress records are maintained accurately

* Assist with subcontractor management, material procurement and logistics planning

* Contribute to client and internal meetings, reporting progress and raising any issues or risks

* Promote high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across all site activities.

Site agent requirements:

* Right to work in the UK.

* Diploma or degree in civil engineering.

* CSCS card – Gold, White or Black.

* SMSTS.

* First aid.

* Proven experience in a site agents role.

* Solid knowledge and understanding of bulk earthworks and muck shifting.

* IT literate.

* Full UK driving licence.
