Sub Agent

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Engineer / Sub Agent to join a rail geotechnical project based near Long Ashton, Bristol. This is an immediate start for a 3-month assignment with potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily site operations on a live rail geotechnical project (soil nailing and stabilisation works)

*

Supervise engineering teams and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient delivery

*

Ensure all works are delivered in line with project specifications, programme, and budget

*

Liaise with stakeholders including Network Rail, project managers, and design teams

*

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards

*

Maintain accurate records, quality assurance, and technical documentation

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Sub Agent or Senior Engineer within a rail environment

*

Background in geotechnical works such as soil nailing, slope stabilisation or piling

*

Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) card – essential

*

SMSTS or SSSTS

*

Relevant civil engineering qualifications

*

Strong understanding of rail safety protocols and construction processes
