Project Manager – Education Scheme | Tier 1 Main Contractor | £13M Project

We are working with a Tier 1 Main Contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a new £13M education scheme.

📍 Location: London office (pre-construction) → site-based from mid-October when the project starts on site

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an established Project Manager with experience in education/DFE projects. The role will initially be London office-based, working through the planning and pre-construction phase, getting the job fully set up and the programme in place.

From mid-October, you will move site-based to oversee the full delivery of the scheme, taking ownership of programme management, client liaison, and overall project leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Lead pre-construction and site setup activities.

Manage and drive the programme to meet key milestones.

Act as the main point of contact for the client and stakeholders.

*

Ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

*

Oversee all aspects of the project from planning to handover.

Requirements

✅ Proven experience as a Project Manager on DFE or education schemes.
✅ Strong background working for Tier 1 or large Main Contractors (small business experience not ideal).
✅ Track record of managing projects from planning through to completion.
✅ Excellent programme management and client-facing skills.
