An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to take ownership of the M&E delivery on a landmark new build care and residential scheme in North West London. With an M&E value of £6–7 million, this 15-month programme will see the construction of a 121-bed care home alongside 12 private apartments, requiring detailed coordination and strong technical leadership.
This is a permanent position with a leading M&E contractor delivering complex residential and healthcare-led developments. The role will commence in early September and is well suited to an Electrical-biased M&E Project Manager who thrives in structured environments and enjoys working as part of a capable, hands-on team.

Key responsibilities
* Lead the M&E delivery across all project phases from early site setup through to commissioning and client handover
* Interpret and work to construction drawings and technical specifications
* Manage subcontractor performance, RFIs, technical submittals and site logistics
* Monitor programme progress, identifying and resolving delays or site blockers
* Work closely with the Mechanical Site Manager to ensure services are fully integrated
* Maintain up-to-date RAMS, toolbox talks and permit control
* Liaise with the client, main contractor, and other trades to coordinate design changes and manage variations
* Produce weekly reports and assist with subcontractor valuations
* Support commissioning and oversee all relevant documentation for project close-out
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience delivering M&E packages on high-end residential or care home projects
* Electrical bias with strong understanding of mechanical interfaces
* Ability to manage site teams, subcontractors and ensure compliance with programme and quality targets
* Excellent communication and coordination skills
* Able to work full-time on site in St John’s Wood for the duration of the project
Certifications required:
* SMSTS
* CSCS card (black or equivalent)
