Associate Building Surveyor

Associate Building Surveyor

A leading Building and Project Consultancy is looking to strengthen its team in London by adding a talented Chartered Associate Building Surveyor.

This is an ideal opportunity for an MRICS Senior or Associate Building Surveyor to make a step up, with real prospects to reach Director level in the medium term.

The Associate Building Surveyor’s role

The successful Associate Building Surveyor will work across both the advisory and consultant side, and the more project-driven parts of the business. There is a project bias, and you will be responsible for several projects, acting either as the contract administrator or as a lead consultant/project manager.

The consultant and advisory work includes core building surveying functions such as defects diagnosis, planned maintenance programming, landlord and tenant matters, reinstatement cost assessments, party wall and general advice.

Typical projects include exterior renovation contracts, internal common parts and design work, private refurbishment projects and major façade remediation schemes, ranging in value from £500K up to around £10m.
