Site Manager

I am working with a well-established refurbishment contractor based in London, delivering high-quality construction and maintenance services within the social housing sector. With a strong reputation for reliability, safety, and workmanship, they specialise in both internal and external refurbishment projects, as well as planned and reactive maintenance.

As they continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team and oversee multiple small-scale refurbishment projects concurrently.

The Role:
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing 4–5 live projects simultaneously, with individual project values typically up to £500k. Projects may include:

Internal kitchen & bathroom (K&B) refurbishment programmes

*

External works (e.g. roofing, windows, facades)

*

Reactive and planned maintenance packages

You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring that all works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard, while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring site safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage multiple refurbishment sites across London

*

Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams

*

Monitor programme schedules and budgetary targets

*

Ensure all works are carried out in line with health & safety regulations

*

Carry out quality inspections and snagging

*

Maintain strong communication with clients, residents, and the wider delivery team

*

Report progress to senior management regularly

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Site Manager within the social housing sector

*

Track record of delivering multiple concurrent refurbishment projects

*

Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance

*

Excellent organisational and communication skills

*

SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certificates (essential)

*
