Estimator – Groundwork
Job Title: Groundwork Estimator, Full-time, Permanent
Location: Hampshire, near Wickham
Salary: £55,000 – £90,000 (DOE) + Car/Car Allowance + Pension

Up Front Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading civil engineering subcontractor for an experienced Groundwork Estimator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that delivers complex groundwork and reinforced concrete frame packages across Hampshire, Dorset, Sussex, and Surrey.
With a strong pipeline of projects and long-standing relationships with Tier 1 contractors and developers, the company is now looking to expand its pre-construction team with an additional Groundwork Estimator who can help price and secure high-profile residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities, not limited to
As a Groundwork Estimator, your role will include:

Producing detailed and accurate cost estimates for civil engineering and groundworks packages
*
Interpreting technical drawings, specifications, etc
*
Working closely with the commercial team to prepare tender submissions
*
Building strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and negotiation
Projects will typically involve:
*
Deep drainage, S278/S38 works
*
Substructures and RC frame packages
*
Roads, paving, and external works
*
Groundworks
Requirements
To be successful in this Groundwork Estimator role, you’ll need:

Proven estimating experience in groundworks, civil engineering, or RC frame
*
Ability to read and take off from technical drawings
*
A proactive, detail-focused approach
*
