Project Manager – Luxury Furniture & Joinery
An internationally renowned Italian furniture and joinery manufacturer is seeking a Project Manager to join its London operation. With a reputation for delivering bespoke interiors and premium-quality products, this role will see you acting as the key link between UK clients, Italian HQ, and specialist subcontractors across prestigious commercial and residential fit-out projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage detailed project programmes, ensuring alignment with client objectives, deliverables, and timelines
Proactively identify risks, implement contingency plans, and maintain full control over project progress and cost
Coordinate the procurement and tender process (RFPs, RFQs, ITTs), including supplier evaluations and contract negotiations
Review JCT contracts, assist with scope changes, and collaborate with QS team to maintain budgets and manage value engineering
Lead design coordination, workshops, and approval processes—including review of prototypes, samples, and technical drawings
Manage RAMS documentation, ensuring alignment with UK safety regulations and site-specific changes
Oversee quality assurance and site monitoring during all phases, from pre-construction through to final snagging and client handover
Engage and manage multidisciplinary teams, defining clear roles and maintaining accountability throughout the lifecycle
Coordinate closely with stakeholders, ensuring clear, consistent communication and alignment across clients, designers, and suppliers
Conduct regular site visits to review installations, ensuring compliance with programme, cost, and quality expectations
Essential Requirements:
Strong project management experience within bespoke furniture, high-end joinery, or interior fit-out sectors
Full fluency in Italian and English (spoken and written)
Proficient understanding of JCT contracts and risk management processes
Confident working across cross-cultural teams and bridging communication between UK and Italian operations
Competent in reviewing technical drawings and coordinating design approval processes
Site experience including RAMS, snagging, and quality inspections
