Design Manager
Bennett & Game are excited to represent a growing architectural aluminium glazing specialist based in Nottingham, with over 40 staff and a recent turnover of over £14 million. The firm delivers high-spec aluminium curtain walling, window and door systems across the UK, and operates one of the most advanced aluminium manufacturing facilities in the country.
This Design Manager role will lead a team of 5 seasoned designers, ensuring that building envelope systems meet performance, aesthetic and buildability criteria. You will collaborate with architects, clients and fabrication teams to deliver robust design solutions within a forward-thinking, quality-driven environment.
Design Manager Salary & Benefits
Salary: £45k – £65k (DOE)

Design Manager Job Overview
Lead design coordination of façade and aluminium glazing systems
Review architectural drawings and perform constructability assessments
Liaise with architects, engineers and fabrication teams to refine design deliverables
Oversee handover of design packages for manufacturing and site installation
Mentor technical design staff and uphold best practice design processes
Design Manager Job Requirements
Proven experience in façade or architectural aluminium system design management preferred
Detailed understanding of curtain wall, window and door technologies
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience collaborating across design, fabrication and delivery teams
