Foreman

My client are a growing, specialist refurbishment and fit-out contractor delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across London. They're now looking for a hands-on, experienced Foreman ideally with a carpentry background to join our team on a new CAT-B fitout of an older building with character.

🔧 The Role

You’ll be responsible for:

Leading small-to-medium site teams and subcontractors

*

Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications

*

Overseeing daily site operations, H&S, and programme delivery

*

Supporting quality control and ensuring work meets client expectations

*

Assisting with setting out, carpentry tasks, and hands-on supervision

*

Liaising with project managers and suppliers to maintain site momentum

👷‍♂️ Who We're Looking For

*

Proven experience as a Foreman / Working Foreman in refurbishment or fit-out

*

Carpentry/joinery background (NVQ or time-served)

*

Able to take initiative and drive jobs forward independently

*

Understanding of H&S, site compliance and quality management

*

Clear communicator with good site leadership skills

*

SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred)

*

CSCS card required
