Salary: £33,000 – £40,000

Aztrum is thrilled to be partnering with a well-established architectural practice based in Birmingham, currently on the lookout for a skilled Architectural Technician to join their expanding team. Known for delivering sustainable and community-driven projects, the practice has built a strong reputation for its collaborative approach and diverse project portfolio.
With active work across the Commercial, Education, Industrial, and Healthcare sectors, this role offers a great opportunity to get involved in meaningful, high-impact developments. We’re looking for someone with solid technical experience—particularly in the Commercial, Education, or Industrial sectors—who can confidently contribute to detailed design and delivery across a variety of exciting projects.
What you’ll be doing as an Architectural Technician:
• Produce precise technical drawings, specifications, and construction details using Revit and other CAD/BIM tools
• Work closely with architects, engineers, and consultants to develop effective, buildable design solutions
• Carry out site visits, help coordinate project stages, and ensure everything aligns with building regs and the original design intent
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and the wider team to resolve technical issues and keep projects running smoothly
What we’re looking for:
• A qualification in Architectural Technology or a related field
• Strong Revit skills and a solid understanding of BIM workflows
• A good working knowledge of UK building regs and construction techniques
• Detail-focused, with strong technical drawing abilities and clear communication skills
