Site Manager – Apartment Fit-Out (Short-Term Contract)
Location: Acomb, York
Duration: 6 Weeks
Working Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Start Date: 04th August

We are looking for an experienced site manager to oversee the final 6 weeks of a 9-unit apartment fit-out project in Acomb, York, currently at the second fix stage. The role requires strong organisational skills and a hands-on approach to drive the programme through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring works progress on schedule

*

Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, with a focus on quality joinery finishes

*

Monitor progress and report to the project team

*

Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and maintain site records

*

Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and client representatives as needed

Requirements:

*

Previous experience managing fit-out projects at the second fix/final stages

*

Joinery background essential

*

Valid SMSTS and First Aid certification required

*

Ability to work independently and manage multiple trades on site
