Site Manager –Traditional Build

Day Rate £280 – £300

About the Role:

We’re working with a Tier 1 residential developer seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the day-to-day operations on a new 16-home development. This is a traditional build housing scheme, requiring a Site Manager with a strong background in high-quality, traditional construction methods.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the industry's most respected developers, known for delivering outstanding homes and maintaining high standards of health & safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage all site activities, subcontractors, and trades to ensure efficient delivery of the program

* Maintain strict health & safety standards and compliance at all times

* Coordinate materials, logistics, and resources to keep the project on track

* Ensure quality control throughout the build, from groundworks to handover

* Liaise with the Project Manager, design team, and client as required

* Maintain site records, progress reports, and site diaries

* Conduct regular site meetings and toolbox talks

Essential Requirements:

* Proven experience managing traditional build housing projects

* Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and H&S legislation

* SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid certified

* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

* Experience delivering residential projects with a Tier 1 or reputable developer
