We are working with a Tier 1 contractor who is seeking a skilled Construction Manager to lead the delivery of a complex laboratory and teaching facility project in Norwich. This role offers the chance to take ownership of a challenging build from an early stage, with a strong emphasis on mechanical systems and building services integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate mechanical packages on-site, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and programme requirements

Manage subcontractors and ensure timely execution of works according to specifications

Collaborate closely with M&E consultants, design teams, and site staff

Conduct site inspections, progress meetings, and report on project milestones

Maintain a sharp focus on mechanical systems integration within a high-performance building

Key Requirements:

Demonstrable experience as a Construction Manager delivering mechanical packages on complex projects

Experience working with Tier 1 or main contractors preferred

Background in laboratory, healthcare, or educational environments advantageous

SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualified

Confident communicator with strong leadership and problem-solving skills
