Project Manager – CAT B Office Fit Out (Partitioning Specialist)

Location: London + Surrounding Areas

Salary: Up to £70,000 (DOE)

The Role:

Hard Hat Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in CAT B office fit outs, particularly within partitioning and drylining packages. The role involves managing projects across London, taking full ownership of delivery, cost control, and site execution.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone confident in running interior fit-out packages and looking to take control of their own sites. The position offers autonomy, variety, and regular collaboration with commercial and site teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee full project delivery from pre-start to handover

*

Manage and coordinate partitioning, bulkhead construction, fire-rated wall systems, drylining, and ceiling installation

*

Take ownership of costs, procurement, labour coordination, and site logistics

*

Ensure work is delivered on time, to spec, and within budget

*

Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to drive smooth delivery

*

Attend weekly office meetings to review project performance and planning

Experience & Requirements:

*

Strong experience in CAT B commercial fit out projects

*

Proven track record managing partitioning/drylining subcontract packages

*

Knowledge of fire-rating requirements and ceiling systems essential

*

Basic computer literacy (email, schedules, reports, take offs)

*

Full UK driving licence (projects are London-based with occasional travel)

*

Must be comfortable working independently and taking lead responsibility onsite
