Business Development Manager – Tanker Services
Bristol-based with regional travel | Full-Time, 8am–5pm Monday – Friday | Permanent
£34,000 – £38,000 basic + 40% bonus (on-target earnings) + Company Car + Progression

Are you a commercially driven professional with experience in plant hire or tanker services? We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to help grow a specialist division focused on septic tanks, effluent tanks, and welfare unit solutions.

Our client is a leading name in site welfare and tanker services. This is a brilliant opportunity to carve out your own path within a growing, high-demand sector — ideal for someone with plant hire experience looking to step into a more specialist role, or someone already familiar with tankering services ready to take their career further.

What You’ll Be Doing:

* Win new business and grow existing accounts across your region

* Use your plant hire or welfare experience to identify untapped opportunities

* Collaborate closely with internal teams to build strong commercial strategies

* Represent the Tanker Services division at trade events, customer visits, and sales meetings

* Manage the sales process end to end — from lead generation to closing deals

* Maintain accurate records, reports, and CRM activity with a focus on results

What We're Looking For:

* Proven sales background, ideally in plant hire, or tanker solutions

* Tanker service knowledge is a plus — but full training will be provided for anyone in the plant hire industry wanting to progress.

* Self-starter with strong communication and relationship-building skills

* Target-driven mindset with a passion for business development

* Willing to travel regularly across the region (company car provided)
