About the Role:
We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Document Controller to join a leading residential developer on a 6-month contract, with strong potential to extend up to 18 months. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to important fire safety and building regulation projects within the residential sector.
Based in Enfield, with the flexibility to work from home 1–2 days a week, you’ll work closely alongside a Senior Document Controller and play a key role in managing project documentation and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the Senior Document Controller with day-to-day document control activities.

Upload, review, and manage documents using project management systems

Ensure correct version control, document numbering, and proper distribution to relevant stakeholders.

Maintain accurate records of drawings, correspondence, and technical documentation.

Assist in preparing reports and audits related to building safety compliance.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a document control or administrative role, ideally within construction, engineering, or residential development.

Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.

Familiarity with common document control software is advantageous.
*
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively within a team.

A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
