About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Technical Coordinator to join a highly respected and long-established main contractor based in Dagenham. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a variety of projects — primarily residential, with additional exposure to education and commercial schemes.
Reporting into the senior team and working closely with Contracts Managers, you will support the delivery of technically sound and compliant projects, with a strong focus on Building Safety, BREEAM, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure ongoing compliance with the Building Safety Act and current Building Regulations.

Oversee and coordinate technical documentation, particularly O&M manuals, specifications, and design information.
*
Assist in delivering BREEAM requirements throughout relevant projects.
*
Work with site teams and consultants to manage Fieldview documentation and processes.
*
Provide technical support to Contracts Managers across multiple live projects.
*
Liaise with internal departments, external consultants, and subcontractors to ensure technical standards are met.

Monitor and update records for regulatory compliance and project close-out procedures.
Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role within construction, ideally with a main contractor.
*
Strong understanding of Building Regulations, building safety legislation, and compliance processes.
*
Familiarity with tools such as Fieldview is desirable.
*
Experience with O&M handovers and technical coordination during both pre-construction and construction phases.
*
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
*
Ability to work collaboratively with project teams across multiple disciplines.
