Site Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to support a battery energy storage system (BESS) scheme based in Norwich. This is a short-term contract running for 2–3 months, with an immediate start available. The role offers a competitive daily rate of £350 – £400, depending on experience.

Role Responsibilities:

Setting out and surveying for civil and electrical works on site

*

Supporting delivery of the battery storage installation in line with programme

*

Managing and recording QA documentation

*

Liaising with subcontractors and the wider project team to ensure efficient site operations

*

Ensuring HSEQ standards are maintained throughout the site

Key Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Site Engineer on energy or infrastructure projects

*

Strong setting out skills with use of GPS and total station equipment

*

Understanding of civils and electrical interface in BESS or renewable energy projects

*

Relevant engineering qualification (HNC, HND, or degree)

*

CSCS card (essential), SMSTS or SSSTS (desirable)
