Senior Engineer – Highways, Earthworks & Drainage
Location: Guilford, Surrey
Rate: From £330 per day – negotiable depending on experience (CIS/LTD)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Long-term contract

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Engineer to support a major infrastructure package in Guilford. This is an excellent opportunity to lead critical elements of a complex highways, earthworks, and drainage scheme on a high-profile project.

Key Responsibilities:

*

Overseeing the delivery of highways, earthworks, and drainage works

*

Setting out, QA, and managing site documentation

*

Coordinating with subcontractors and site teams to ensure programme targets are achieved

*

Liaising with designers and the client for technical queries

*

Supporting junior engineers and maintaining health & safety standards

Requirements:

*

Strong background in infrastructure projects (Highways, Civils, Earthworks, or Drainage)

*

CSCS card (Gold or Black preferred)

*

SMSTS or SSSTS qualification

*

Proficient in interpreting drawings and managing site execution

*

Ability to work independently and drive progress

*

Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering
