We're seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to take the reins on a student accommodation development in Derby. The project is currently in the final stages of brickwork, with timber frame construction set to commence shortly, followed by internal works through to completion in December.

About the Project:

Purpose-built student apartment block

Currently in final weeks of external brickwork

Timber frame phase due to start imminently

Full fit-out and internals through to handover in December

Your Role:

You will be the key point of contact on-site, coordinating trades, managing health & safety, and ensuring work progresses to programme. Working closely with the Project Manager and wider team, your leadership will be critical through the final and most crucial stages of delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily site management and supervision of subcontractors

Maintain programme and ensure key milestones are met

Oversee health & safety and site standards

Coordinate materials and deliveries

Liaise with project and commercial teams

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential or student accommodation projects

Strong background in managing timber frame and internal works

SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certified

Able to work to tight deadlines with a keen eye for quality
