Job Title: Site Manager – Office Fit Out (M&E Focus)
Location: Birmingham, UK
Start Date: 11th August 2025
Duration: 20 Weeks
Rate: £275 per day

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a high-spec office fit out in Birmingham. The project features a technically demanding Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) installation, so a strong background in M&E is essential.

This is a 20-week programme, and you will play a pivotal role in ensuring site operations run smoothly, safely, and in line with quality and programme expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-day site management, coordination, and supervision of all trades and contractors

Attend and contribute to project meetings, driving progress and identifying issues early

Maintain H&S standards across site, carrying out regular checks and toolbox talks

Ensure all works are completed to a high standard and snag-free

Liaise with the project manager, design team, and client as required

Monitor site programme and assist in keeping the project on track

Coordinate material deliveries and manage site logistics

Requirements:

Proven experience managing Cat A/Cat B commercial office fit outs

Strong technical knowledge of M&E systems, able to question and challenge installations

SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid at Work

Strong organisational and communication skills

Able to read and interpret drawings and technical specs

Track record of delivering projects on time and to a high standard
