Project Quantity Surveyor

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a talented and driven Project Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor, working on major residential, student accommodation, and hotel projects with values of up to £120 million.

You will become a key part of a high-performing commercial team, supporting the successful delivery of large-scale, complex developments across the UK. Key Responsibilities:

* Manage commercial aspects of projects from pre-construction through to final account.

* Assist in the procurement of subcontractors and preparation of tender documentation.

* Conduct valuations, manage variations, and ensure accurate cost reporting.

* Work closely with the Project Manager and Senior Quantity Surveyor to monitor budgets and forecast costs.

* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure financial control and contract compliance.

* Prepare and negotiate interim and final accounts.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on large-scale construction projects.

* Background working with a main contractor, ideally Tier 1.

* Strong commercial and contractual awareness.

* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related field.
