A well-established main contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a new-build care home project in the Southampton area. This is a two-year scheme, delivering a high-specification, multi-storey residential care facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the project from pre-construction through to final handover

*

Manage subcontractors, site teams, and client-side stakeholders

*

Ensure compliance with health and safety, programme milestones, and building regulations

*

Chair regular progress meetings and produce reports for senior management

*

Oversee quality assurance, cost control, and day-to-day site activity

Requirements:

*

Proven track record delivering care homes or similar healthcare/residential schemes

*

Experience in traditional build construction

*

Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills

*

SMSTS, CSCS (Black or White Card), and First Aid certification as a minimum

*

Experience working with CQC compliance and client-side consultants is highly desirable
