Senior Electrical Engineer – Delivery (Renewable Energy)

An opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer to play a key role in the delivery of high-quality renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and battery storage. The role focuses on electrical design and grid interface, managing relationships with DNOs/TSOs, overseeing grid connection agreements, and supporting project delivery from development through to commissioning and handover.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading electrical design, grid applications, and power system studies

Managing communication with DNOs/TSOs and tracking grid connection progress

Reviewing and challenging ICP/DNO designs for cost and technical optimisation

*

Supporting site commissioning, grid compliance, and testing activities

*

Ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are met across all stages

Candidate profile:
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in electrical engineering and have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the renewable energy sector. A strong understanding of the UK grid landscape is essential, alongside proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, Trimble, or Digsilent.
