Job Opportunity: Freelance Cat B Site Manager – Bath

We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Freelance Site Manager (Cat B Fit-Out) to oversee a high-spec commercial fit-out project in the heart of Bath. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a fast-paced, design-led refurbishment from CAT A to CAT B standards

About the Role:

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day site operations of a Category B fit-out, ensuring that work is carried out safely, on time, and to the highest standards. This includes managing subcontractors, site H&S, quality control, and liaising with the client and project team.

Responsibilities:

* Oversee all site activities and ensure adherence to program and specification

* Manage subcontractors and trades on-site

* Ensure strict health & safety compliance and keep accurate site documentation

* Attend and lead site meetings and client walk-arounds

* Report progress to the project manager and keep daily site records

Requirements:

* Proven experience delivering Cat B fit-out projects (commercial or office)

* SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold card preferred), and First Aid

* Strong leadership and communication skills

* Ability to work independently and solve problems on-site
