Overview:
A leading main contractor is seeking an experienced Information Manager to join a major construction project based in Bicester. You’ll be a key member of the site-based delivery team, responsible for managing and maintaining all project-related information and documentation across the Common Data Environment (CDE), ensuring consistency, traceability, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Information Management & Coordination:
*
Maintain and govern the structure of the project’s CDE (Asite) and WIP environments.
*
Ensure full compliance with ISO 19650 standards and the project's Information Management Protocol.
*
Manage workflows, document naming, numbering, and ensure accurate data entry and traceability.
*
Organise and control user access rights across platforms and systems.
Team Support & Training:
*
Act as the main point of contact for all information management queries on-site.
*
Deliver upskilling and training to project teams and subcontractors on CDE systems.
*
Support collaborative information exchange between internal and external stakeholders.
Performance & Governance:
*
Generate reports and data analytics on project information management performance.
*
Monitor submission processes and ensure documentation deadlines are met.
*
Coordinate with regional digital teams to provide feedback on systems, templates, and process improvements.
Requirements:
Essential:
*
Experience working with a main contractor, ideally Tier 1.
*
Construction site-based experience with a strong understanding of digital information management.
*
Practical knowledge and application of BS EN ISO 19650 Parts 1 & 2.
*
Proficiency in Asite and familiarity with other CDE platforms (e.g., 4Projects, Aconex).
*
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate across all project levels.
*
Valid CSCS card.
Desirable:
*
Understanding of PAS 8672.
*
Experience with BIM tools such as Navisworks, Dalux, or BIMcollab.
*
Ability to write and maintain Information Management Protocols and Delivery Plans (TIDP/MIDP).
