Location: Suffolk & East Midlands
Salary: £40,000+ DOE + Excellent Package

Are you an ambitious Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career? We’re recruiting for an Assistant or Project Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established main contractor delivering a flagship £42M new-build educational project in Suffolk.

The Role:

As the No.2 Commercial lead on site, you will play a key role in the procurement and management of subcontract packages, while supporting all commercial activities including valuations, variations, and final accounts. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with drive and ambition, with a clear path to progress into a No.1 Quantity Surveyor role on future projects.

Location: Suffolk (site-based 2-3 days/week) & Derbyshire office (2-3 days/week)

What We’re Looking For:

*

Degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor

*

1–2 years minimum experience in main contractor construction

*

Background in education construction preferred

*

Strong procurement skills and commercial acumen

*

Willingness to travel – flexibility required due to site/office split

*

Experience with Tier 1 or strong Tier 2 main contractors
