One of Europe’s leading specialist contractors that operates in the data centre and life sciences sector and self-delivers CSA packages for some of the industries leading general contractors, is actively seeking a diligent and competent Assistant Quantity Surveyor for a brand new role in head office in London.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large scale civils projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

* First point of contact for all estimating enquiries

* Grow, develop, train current and new team members

* Direct and assist estimating team in their day-to-day activities.

* Lead regular internal and client meetings

* Develop strong relationship with current and prospective client list

* Develop current estimation processes and enhance day-to-day processes

Requirements:

* 3+ years in an Estimating or Commercial role

* Data Centre experience desirable but not a necessity

* Proficient in IT packages and other relevant software

* Relevant 3rd level qualifications

* Forward thinking mindset, career ambitious and possess strong people management ability.
