Job Overview:

We are currently seeking an experienced Multi Trader Supervisor to join our team in Enfield, supporting the Legal Disrepairs Team. This is a hands-on supervisory role that involves managing a team of multi-skilled operatives while also carrying out a variety of trade tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social housing, excellent leadership skills, and the flexibility to assist across different trades.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate day-to-day activities of a team of multi traders

Carry out a variety of trade tasks including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, painting, and basic repairs

*

Ensure works are completed to a high standard, on time, and in line with legal disrepair requirements

*

Provide hands-on support to the team where needed

*

Conduct quality inspections and provide feedback to management

*

Liaise with tenants, site managers, and the office team to ensure smooth delivery of works

*

Assist with scheduling, material orders, and job reporting

Requirements:

*

Minimum 3 years’ experience in social housing

*

Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role

*

Strong multi-trade skill set (e.g. carpentry, plumbing, plastering, painting)

*

NVQ Level 2 (or higher) in a relevant trade

*

Own tools

*

Full, clean driving licence

*

Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check

*

Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

*

Willing to “muck in” and assist with general tasks as needed
