ABOUT THE COMPANY

ROLE SUMMARY

The Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring that projects are managed in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner, in line with Health & Safety policies and procedures, and constructed in accordance with contractual requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Supervise and manage all works on site.

* Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety policies and procedures.

* Co-ordinate and supervise all site personnel, including subcontractors and site labour.

* Monitor and review project progress in line with the programme, providing regular progress reports to management.

* Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and other personnel to ensure adequate site resourcing.

* Hold and document weekly subcontractor meetings.

* Collaborate with the design team on construction-related matters.

* Work with the procurement team to manage material orders and deliveries.

* Prepare regular site reports for management.

* Maintain strong client liaison throughout the project to ensure expectations are met.

* Uphold the highest quality standards at all times.

* Deliver toolbox talks when required.

* Resolve day-to-day issues promptly to maintain the programme.

* Communicate regularly with the commercial and operational teams regarding progress and changes.

* Operate in accordance with all company policies and procedures.

* Undertake any other reasonable duties as required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential:

* Significant recent experience in a fast-paced construction , joinery or fit-out environment, demonstrating the ability to meet demanding project requirements.

* Proven track record managing site teams within a construction/fit-out setting.

* Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office.

* Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to build relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.

* In-depth knowledge of construction practices, with the ability to review designs and identify cost-saving measures.

* Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation relevant to the construction industry.

* Exceptional attention to detail.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach to work.

* Commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and meeting compliance requirements.

* CSR/CSCS card holder, with relevant certificates such as First Aid and SMSTS
