Junior CDM Advisor

As a well-established and growing commercial design and build company. Our client has a thriving CDM and Health & Safety department, who are looking to add a motivated and ambitious Junior CDM Advisor to its team. The successful candidate will support the delivery of various commercial refurbishment, CAT A, and CAT B fit-out projects across London and the surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior CDM Advisor with approximately 6 months – 1 year of experience to join a respected design and build firm. The role offers the chance to work alongside experienced industry professionals, gaining valuable mentorship and hands-on experience, with a clear progression pathway. It would suit someone who holds NEBOSH qualifications and has a good foundation in the field but is keen to continue developing their skills and advancing their career.

Responsibilities

* Help facilitate provision of the Principal Designer role to Clients on all projects.

* Manage the H&S file, review construction phase plans, produce and maintain pre-construction information and conduct design risk reviews.

* Attend design team and client meetings and offer advice relating to risk.

* Assist with the provision of site safety documentation including risk assessments and method statements.

* Carry out site safety inspections

Requirements

* NEBOSH Construction or equivalent (essential)

* Professional membership to IOSH and APS (desirable).

* Good knowledge of 2015 CDM Regulations

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
