This is a permanent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to take responsibility for the full site delivery of high-value M&E packages on technically challenging commercial and residential projects.

You’ll be joining a fast-growing building services contractor with a strong reputation for quality and execution, operating across a diverse portfolio—from high-spec apartment blocks in Central London to complex live hospital refurbishments and premium residential schemes. With the commercial groundwork, design, and procurement handled in-house, your focus will be on what matters most: delivering the project on site, to programme, and to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities

* Take lead responsibility for site-based delivery of mechanical works from mobilisation to handover

* Coordinate operatives, subcontractors, materials, plant, and access equipment

* Monitor programme performance and site progress, identifying and resolving issues proactively

* Maintain clear health and safety standards, RAMS documentation, inductions, and daily briefings

* Manage site communication channels and ensure subcontractor alignment with quality and schedule targets

* Work alongside internal commercial and procurement teams to manage budgets and delivery milestones

* Provide input into project meetings, commissioning strategy, and handover planning

* Ensure regular reporting on progress, risks, and opportunities to senior management

What we’re looking for

* Strong background in mechanical building services, with experience delivering commercial or residential projects

* Proven experience managing subcontractors and operatives on technically challenging schemes

* Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with a focus on planning and proactive issue resolution

* Comfortable working on fast-paced projects with complex coordination requirements

* A collaborative and solution-focused approach to project delivery

Certifications required:

* SMSTS

* CSCS (black or equivalent)

* £55,000 – £65,000 per annum (depending on experience)
