An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to take the lead on the delivery of technically demanding electrical packages across a varied portfolio of commercial and residential projects. This is a full-time, permanent role offering clear progression opportunities and the chance to work in a business that prioritises performance, structure, and long-term growth.

You’ll be joining a well-established and expanding building services contractor known for delivering high-quality M&E solutions. With in-house design, procurement, and commercial teams in place, your focus will be on coordinating and driving the successful delivery of projects on site—on time, on budget, and to a consistently high standard.

Key responsibilities

* Lead the planning and delivery of electrical works from design coordination through to commissioning and handover

* Manage day-to-day site activities, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant installation practices

* Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery

* Monitor progress against programme and take corrective action as needed

* Ensure all project documentation—including schedules, risk assessments, and reports—is kept up to date and accurate

* Manage procurement and resource allocation in collaboration with internal teams

* Lead site meetings, briefings, and toolbox talks as necessary

* Oversee financial elements of the project, including cost tracking, forecasting and invoicing

* Identify and implement process improvements to drive quality, efficiency, and commercial success

What we’re looking for

* Proven experience managing electrical installation works in a main contractor or specialist building services environment

* Strong understanding of electrical systems, regulations, and industry standards

* Practical knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance procedures

* Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate a wide range of stakeholders

* Capable of managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment

* Proficient in project management systems and reporting tools

* Full UK driving licence

Certifications required:

* SMSTS (or equivalent)

* CSCS card

* £55,000 – £60,000 per annum
