Job Title: Senior Site Manager – High-Rise Residential

Project: 25+Storey RC Frame New Build Residential
Salary: £70-80k
Contract Type: Permanent

The Opportunity:
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join our team on a flagship 30-storey new build residential development. Acting as the Number 2 on-site, you’ll report directly to the Project Manager and be the construction lead across all phases – from groundworks through to RC frame, fit-out and final handover.

This is a career-defining opportunity to take on a senior leadership role on a major city-centre scheme with a leading Tier 1 contractor known for delivering high-quality high-rise residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:
– Lead and manage all site construction activities day-to-day
– Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and direct labour
– Oversee health & safety compliance, quality assurance, and productivity on site
– Work closely with the Project Manager to drive programme delivery
– Attend client and consultant meetings; contribute to strategic site planning
– Support management of site logistics, temporary works, and sequencing
– Monitor site progress and ensure works are completed on time and to spec
– Mentor and develop junior team members

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or Site Manager on high-rise RC frame projects
– Strong technical understanding of reinforced concrete structures and complex sequencing
– Experience managing construction delivery from groundwork through to handover
– SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid at Work certification
– Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills
– Comfortable acting as the Project Manager’s deputy when required
