Site Manager

R9 Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our clients team and assist in the completion of a dynamic social housing project in Ellesmere Port. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across both refurbishment and new build elements, with a strong focus on snagging, compliance, and project delivery.
Location: Sutton Way, Ellesmere Port
Rate: £22.50 per hour
Contract: Temporary (Until December 2025)
Project Overview:
* Refurbishment: 10 blocks of flats (3 handed over, 7 nearing completion)
* Groundworks: Courtyard and road formation on 1 block
* New Builds: 16 plots (8 at final fix, 8 at standstill pending service connections)
* Live Build: 1 plot at first lift stage
* Programme Completion Target: November/December 2025
Key Responsibilities:
* Immediate focus on snagging and completing 8 new build plots
* Assist with snagging and finishing works on 7 refurbished blocks
* Ensure site compliance with current H&S regulations
* Conduct daily diaries, weekly reports, and QA documentation
* Update MS Project schedules and compile O&M manuals and home user guides
* Liaise with contractors, engineers, and architects
* Manage RAMS reviews, safety permits, and site audits
* Lead subcontractor progress meetings and daily briefings
Role Requirements:
* Certifications: SMSTS, IOSH, First Aid, Fire Marshall
* Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Site Supervision (or equivalent)
* Experience: Proven background in both new build and refurbishment projects
* Skills: Computer literate with experience in QA systems and MS Project
* Other: Full UK driving license
