Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong track record in industrial construction? Join a well-established main contractor delivering high-quality industrial units, logistics parks, and commercial builds across the South East.
We're looking for a commercially driven QS to take ownership of key industrial projects within a thriving, tight-knit team. The role is based just 15 minutes north of the M25—ideal for professionals commuting from Hertfordshire, Essex, or North London.
 
🔧 What You'll Be Doing:

Managing all aspects of cost control and contract administration across new industrial build projects
Working closely with clients, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure financial efficiency and project success
Preparing and reviewing tender documents, bills of quantities, valuations, and final accounts
Monitoring project budgets, forecasting costs, and managing variations
Ensuring compliance with NEC or JCT contract terms
Contributing to procurement strategies and supply chain management ✅ What We're Looking For:

Minimum 5 years' experience in Quantity Surveying, ideally within the industrial or commercial construction sector
Proven background with main contractors or specialist industrial builders
Strong working knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts
Excellent negotiation, cost planning, and reporting skills
Confident communicator with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field (RICS/Chartered status desirable) 💼 What's On Offer:
