Career-Bridge Recruitment are working with an established client who are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding South West office.

My client operates across a wide range of sectors including industrial, leisure, healthcare, education, residential (both social housing and developer-led), office fit-out, and listed building/conservation projects.

Work ranges from providing traditional Quantity Surveying services to undertaking Employer’s Agent and Project Management roles. The team-focused culture provides a supportive and collaborative environment, enabling the delivery of customer-focused services and solutions.

The South West office is delivering a diverse range of private and commercial developments, with a strong pipeline of work across various sectors.

Have experience in the following:

Feasibility studies

*

Cost estimates

*

Schedules of works

*

Bills of quantities

*

JCT and NEC contracts

*

Valuations

*

Final accounts

*

Risk management and value management

*

Tender documentation production, assessment, and reporting on returns

You will need

*

Hold a relevant degree and be MRICS qualified.

*

Have proven experience within a professional quantity surveying (PQS) practice.

*

Have experience managing both smaller projects (<£1m) and large multi-million-pound schemes.

*

Be able to handle multiple projects concurrently with strong self-motivation and effective workload prioritisation.

*

Understand health & safety regulations and CDM requirements.

*

Maintain and enhance the company’s reputation by developing client relationships and business opportunities.

*

Deliver high-quality, timely services, acting as the primary point of contact for clients.

*

Be willing to travel to sites within Plymouth, the South West, and occasionally further afield within the UK.
