The role & about the client:
ITS Building People are recruiting on behalf of a Tier 1 residential contractor for an experienced Site Manager to join a prestigious residential development in Milford, Surrey. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK's leading housebuilders and manage a high-profile project from the ground up.
As Site Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing all day-to-day operations on-site. You'll ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality. This is a key leadership role, working closely with subcontractors, engineers, and project stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Managing the construction phase of a large-scale residential project
Ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to NHBC quality standards
Supervising and coordinating all site personnel and subcontractors
Enforcing strict health, safety, and environmental compliance
Monitoring daily site progress and reporting to the Project Manager
Resolving on-site issues and keeping the build on track
Liaising with stakeholders and maintaining excellent working relationships
Promoting a positive and productive site culture The ideal candidate will have/be:
Proven experience as a Site Manager on large-scale Tier 1 residential projects
SMSTS, First Aid, and valid CSCS (Black or Gold Card preferred)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Good knowledge of UK building regulations and NHBC requirements
Ability to effectively manage time, people, and materials
